Roanoke Rapids High School Alumni and Friends in partnership with Roanoke Rapids High School is excited to announce Christmas at the Castle, sponsored by Halifax County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Lowe’s Home Improvement. This exciting Christmas event will be held Tuesday, December 19th at Roanoke Rapids High School with activities beginning at 6:00pm. The RRHS Concert Choir and the Jingle Bell Jackets of the RRHS Band are scheduled to perform as candles are placed in each of the windows of the historic Senior Building. Once the building is lit from within, Santa will appear for photos. The RRHS Band Boosters will be selling delicious hot chocolate in commemorative mugs, fresh cookies and Christmas at the Castle ornaments. The RRHS Chorus will have t- shirts available for purchase. Cash app and Paypal are accepted as well as cash. The front of the building will be beautifully decorated and there will be a special Christmas tree with blank ornaments to write on, so alumni can leave their name and graduation year on the tree. Make sure to bring a chair or a blanket and join us for plenty of Christmas cheer. No pets please.
